Carle recovers; Feistel lets leads wander
Carle’s latest clay week was stubborn rather than smooth. She came from a set down to beat Valeriya Strakhova 2-6 6-3 6-2, then took Federica Urgesi to three sets; repeated slow starts and an attackable second serve kept every shift open.

Too many loose service games for a short afternoon
The total of 21.5 games appears to ask for a controlled two-set Carle win. Her recent clay work has offered little of that: she absorbs poor openings well, while Feistel can take early command but has struggled when closing pressure arrives.
Both second serves invite return pressure, so breaks need not shorten the match; they can simply make each set take the scenic route. A deciding set is plausible, but even two sets can clear the line if neither player protects an advantage.
